Why would you pay us to sell your horses when you can doi t for free? That's a valid point. You can auction off your own horses. But we are offering a hassle free way. For a small percent of your horse's selling price we:
- Advertise your horse and barn
- Provide a display page for each horse we sell
- Guarantee a sale within two weeks
For an additional price we will find three pics of your horse for you to choose from. To do this though, you must have a barn URL for us to give to the r/l owners of the pic!

Fees
Selling a horse:
If you want us to sell a horse for you, just send us its stats, whether it is auction or sale, and the price you want. We warn you now that we will not (and generally cannot) sell a horse for an outrageous price. Please be reasonable about what your horse is worth. If you have no idea, we can appraise it for you, no charge. We charge a flat fee of 5% of the selling price. If you have a ton of horses to sell, we can work out a deal. We can negotiate if you cannot afford our fees. Just mention it in your email.
Buying a horse:
After you've seen a horse you want on our page, just go to our message board. For a horse for auction, treat it like any other auction board. Please request a horse for sale. Do not just post a check! We have to confirm it with the horses owner before it is sold to you unless otherwise indicated. Once the owner has accepted your offer, post a check. You will have a week to post a check and collect the stats. The horse will be resold in a week's time if you don't post, so please tell us if you will be delayed in answering!

Adverstising a Stud
Send us your stallion's stats and website and we'll put him on our Stud Listings page. This service is free! All enquiries will be directed to your email so be sure to give us the one you want people to contact!
Selling a horse to us:
BSS will buy some horses. We only buy exceptional individuals for our breeding programs, but if you have one of the following, feel free to email us your horses stats and price. No geldings please.
Arabians with great bloodlines (Bask, Khemosabi, Huckleberry Bey, etc.)
Thoroughbreds, either racers or jumpers with points/bloodlines
Dutch Warmbloods, 7yrs and up
Hanoverians, 7yrs and up
